I know nothing about gymnastics, all I really have to go on is how each athlete *feels* to me. Which looks the most fluid, which seems to have done the toughest/coolest looking stuff, whatever.
That Russian guy did some AMAZING stuff, I thought he was better than Hamm frankly.
I thought it was great the way the fans let the judges have it. Even the commentators have been talking about what a travesty these Olympics have been in Gymnastics and it really showed tonight.
It sucked for Hamm that he got frozen like that, but the judges compensated with unnecessarily generous scores.
There was no question in my mind though that the Italian guy had the best stuff.
And one more thing about this Hamm character, I really didn't expect him to have the voice of a castrato 12 year old.
